#CardiesEastgate Competition Terms and Conditions
- The Cardies October Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
- The competition runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 31 October 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.

To enter, participants must:
- Visit a Cardies store in South Africa.
- Purchase any of the products featured in the competition post or poster and keep the receipt as proof of purchase.
- Take a photo of themselves with their purchase in store. The product must be clearly visible in the photograph.
- Comment on the official Cardies October competition post by tapping the photo icon and uploading that photo.
- Each participant may submit one entry only. Any additional entries submitted by the same participant will be disqualified or considered as the same entry.
- Entries that do not meet all the entry requirements will be disqualified.
- Three winners will be selected at random using a randomiser tool from all valid entries received during the competition period. Only entries that meet all competition requirements will be included in the draw.
- Each winner will receive a Cardies voucher valued at R3,000 to redeem in-store.
- The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- Winners will be contacted via direct message from the official Cardies Instagram account, @cardies_sa, within 5 working days of the competition closing.
- Cardies will make up to two attempts to contact each selected winner. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of the second contact attempt, cannot be contacted, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or is unable to provide the information required to verify their entry, Cardies reserves the right to select an alternative winner using the same random selection process.
- Cardies will never request payment from a winner in order to claim a prize. Participants should only respond to winner communications sent from the official @cardies_sa Instagram account.
- Employees, directors and agents of Cardies, its advertising agencies, suppliers and any other parties directly associated with the competition, as well as their immediate family members, may not enter.
- Cardies reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, misleading, inappropriate or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- By entering the competition, participants confirm that the photograph submitted is their own content and that they have the right to submit it.
- By entering, participants acknowledge that, if selected as a winner, their name and submitted competition photograph may be featured in a competition winner announcement published on the official Cardies Instagram account. Participants grant Cardies permission to use their name and submitted photograph for this purpose.
- Participants grant Cardies permission to repost or share their competition entry on Cardies-owned social media channels for purposes relating to the competition, with appropriate credit where reasonably possible.
- Any personal information collected for the purposes of administering the competition will be processed in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation and will only be used as reasonably necessary to administer the competition, verify winners and facilitate prize redemption.
- Cardies reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary, subject to applicable law.
- Cardies' decision regarding the administration of the competition and selection of winners is final, subject to applicable law.
- This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
- By entering the competition, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
